Neighborhood schools include Hidden Lakes Elementary, Bear Creek Intermediate, Keller Middle, and Keller High School. The Hidden Lakes Elementary School has presented an exemplary rating for six years in a row, while the remaining schools continue to post high performance ratings. Higher education is provided by the nearby University of Texas-Arlington, Texas Wesleyan University, Tarrant County College and University of Dallas, to name a few.

Annual events in Hidden Lakes include the Daddy-Daughter Dance in February, the biannual Garage Sale, the Mother-Son Field Day and the Annual Golf Tournament at Sky Creek Ranch. Active members of the community participate in the Hidden Lakes’ Book Club, Bible Study, Bunco, Networking, a group for Gourmet and Wine enthusiasts and a swim club, among others. Additionally, Hidden Lakes offers committees to welcome new residents, preserve architectural and beautification of the community as well preserving resident finance and safety issues.
